Hip from falls and spine just from moving, the spine is very fragile and osteoporosis causes it to weaken. A simple cough can cause a compression fracture of the spine. They are actually more common than hip fractures. People need to have screening bone density tests after menopause so they can be treated for osteoporosis if they have it. This will help to prevent some of the fractures.

The worst is my opinion is a hip fracture. My grandma, great aunts and mom all declined and past away as results of hip injury’s. I take my Fosamax faithfully.
